In this Privacy Policy, weus or our means the Intellischool group of companies. Client or clients means an organisation or legal entity utilising one or more of our Sites as part of their day-to-day operations.

Through the use of our Sites, you agree that Intellischool can access, aggregate and use non-personally identifiable data Intellischool has collected. This data will in no way identify an individual or a particular Client.

Intellischool may use this aggregated, non-identifiable data to:

  • assist us to better understand how our Clients are using the Sites;
  • provide our Clients with further information regarding the uses and benefits of the Sites;
  • enhance learning, teaching and business outcomes, including by creating useful data insights from aggregated data and allowing our Clients to benchmark data against aggregated data; and
  • otherwise improve our Sites.


Disclosure of personal information to third parties

We may disclose personal information to:

  • third party service providers for the purpose of enabling them to provide their services in relation to your use of our Sites and associated applications, including (without limitation) IT service providers, data storage, web hosting and server providers, debt collectors, maintenance or problem solving providers, marketing or advertising providers, professional advisors and payment systems operators;

How we treat personal information that is also sensitive information

Sensitive information is a subset of personal information that is given a higher level of protection under the Australian Privacy Principles. Sensitive information means information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade union or other professional associations or memberships, philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or practices, criminal records, health information or biometric information.

We do not collect any sensitive information for the purposes of our day-to-day operations. However, our clients may use our Sites and associated applications to collect and store sensitive information on our systems as required by them.

Sensitive information we may collect on behalf of our clients includes:

  • an individual’s racial or ethnic origin;

  • health information;

  • religious beliefs or affiliations; and

  • biometric information for the purposes of identifying you when using our Sites or associated applications.
