Troubleshooting Pulse alert delivery

Sometimes Pulse alerts can be blocked by mail filtering services, particularly if you have a large number of alerts.

If you are seeing Pulse alerts being marked as Not Delivered in Intellischool Analytics, or we've got in touch to let you know that your Pulse alerts aren't being delivered, there are a couple of steps you can take to ensure your alerts are successfully delivered.

➡️ Whitelist our domains with your email filtering service

Sometimes all it takes is to have our domains whitelisted with your filtering service. This is as simple as adding these domains to your whitelist:

  • albitros.com
  • em9556.albitros.com
  • intellischool.co
  • em2575.intellischool.co

➡️ Exclude our outbound mail IPs from filtering

If domain filtering doesn't fix your delivery issues, you can try excluding our outbound mail IPs from filtering.

If your filtering service supports DNS lookup of addresses we recommend using this method to ensure that any changes are reflected in your filtering configuration almost immediately. All of our outbound mail IPs are listed as A-records at the following domain:

  • outbound-mail.intellischool.net

If your filtering service does not support DNS lookup, you will need to bookmark this page and check from time-to-time if we have added or removed IP addresses from this list. At the moment our outbound IPs for mail sending are:

  • 149.72.246.223
    o1.ptr5510.outbound-mail.intellischool.net
