From time-to-time you may wish to work with an Intellischool Developer or Partner to enhance functionality, complete training, or provide direct support for an integration. This is enabled through the External Support functionality.
Approving access
If an External Support agent needs to access your Intellischool tenancy, they will send your Intellischool administrator(s) an External Support Access Request. This request is delivered via e-mail.
The request must be approved by a user from your Intellischool tenancy with superuser
permissions. This is usually a member of your IT team, or a senior leadership member.
Check the request
The request will include three key pieces of information:
- The name of the organisation requesting access to your tenancy;
- The permissions the organisation is requesting; and
- The expiration date and time of the access request.
Ensure all three values are as you expect. If they are not, you should click the Deny access button and contact the External Support agent.
Approve the request
If the request meets your expectations, click on the Approve access button in the e-mail.
Revoking access
When an External Support agent generates the External Support Access Request, they will nominate a time frame for which the access request.
If the expiration date and time is specified, the access request will automatically be revoked after the expiration date and time.
If the expiration is indefinite, the Developer or Partner associated with the request will have access to your data until such time as the access is revoked.
A superuser may revoke a Developer or Partner access grant in the System Settings > External Support page of Albitros, Dextyr or Wylba.
