ManageBac access requirements and configuration

In order to synchronise data, you will need to enable API access in ManageBac and create an API token.

Intellischool integrates with ManageBac using their secure API. Setting up the Intellischool integration with ManageBac is a simple process.

1. Log in to ManageBac as a user with administrative permissions.
2. Navigate to Settings > Develop > API Manager in ManageBac.
3. Click the Add New Token button.
   
4. Enter Intellischool as the name for your API token, and enable the required permissions.
   If you are just using this integration for Intellischool Analytics, you can click the "Read-only" toggle link at the bottom of the page. If you are using this integration for Intellischool Data Ops, we recommend enabling all permissions.
   
5. Click the Add Token button. Once added, you will be able to see the details of the token in the API Manager.
6. Click the Copy to clipboard button next to the Intellischool token, and provide the API key to your Intellischool contact. We recommend using a secure service - such as OneTimeSecret - to send your token (never send it as text in an email).
