This document breaks down the types of information that Intellischool stores and groups them per the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you are using this information to complete a document for audit, assessment or policy purposes, consider which functions within Intellischool products your school is using, as not all the data types listed here will be in use for all schools.
Note: This list may not be exhaustive depending on the granularity that is applied to the documentation you are producing. Please consider any other types of data your school will be working with while using Intellischool products.

| Student identifiers | Used for matching data between systems - for example, matching a result from your LMS to a standardised test result. |
| Staff, student, parent names | Displayed in user interfaces when associating data with a particular individual. |
| Student, parent addresses | Used for geographical and cluster analysis in marketing, enrolments, and business (only for schools using finance, marketing and/or enrolment analytics). |
| Student attendance | Analysis of student attendance patterns, risk analysis, and to generate attendance alerts. |
| Student academic assessments | Analysis of student performance. |
| Student, staff photos | Displayed in profiles for identification purposes (only for schools who switch this functionality on). |
| Student, staff, parent emails | Login information and destination for alerts. |
