      Exporting NAPLAN data from Scout (NSW)

      Schools in NSW need to manually export NAPLAN data from Scout for inclusion in dashboards.

      2. Click on "My apps"

      4. Select the exam year for which you would like to download data

      Note: You may only select a SINGLE YEAR AT ONCE. Do not attempt to load all data in a single extract.

      5. To download outcome-level results, click on "More options"

      6. Click on "Export data"

      7. Select "Data with current layout", then "Export"

      Be sure to save the data in a safe place! We also recommend using a recognisable file name - such as "NAPLAN 2021 Outcome level".

      8. To download question-level data, click on "More options"

      If your school completed paper-based NAPLAN tests for the selected year, click "More options" in the Paper Item Response section.

      10. Select "Data with current layout", then click "Export"

      Be sure to save the data in a safe place! We also recommend using a recognisable file name - such as "NAPLAN 2021 Question level".
